Without reviews in your shop you won’t get very far, because customers would always rather buy from a shop that does have positive feedback from previous customers.
Now we have something new to offer. We present you Testimonial Sliders. Your reviews can now be more visible, automatically changing to grab more attention and add to that social proof you’re building for your shop.

How does Slider work?
Reviify, AliExpress review importer app for Shopify, now has Testimonial Sliders reviews option, too. Once you import reviews and adjust the settings your reviews will be featured in an automatic sliding view in your desired place. Most often Slider is presented on the home, collection or product page. Some shops utilise the free space on the About Us page and add the Slider there.
How to implement Slider?
- After installing Reviify (if you don’t already have the app) choose Testimonial Sliders option
- Click on ‘Add new‘ button
- Adjust Testimonial Sliders options to your preferences and click on ‘Add‘ button to add the Slider to your website
- To place in the desired place on your shop’s website click ‘Copy code’ for every Slider
- In Shopify Admin Panel edit the theme and paste the code in the desired place
Slider options
A great benefit of the Slider is that it can be very personalized to fit well with your shop and your brand image. You can name your Sliders so it is easier to navigate when adding their code for placement, as well as activate or deactivate Sliders.
They come in three different styles (available on PRO) classic, bubble and middle. When choosing, find the one that stands out best in your shop’s website layout, but that doesn’t mess up your shop’s style.

There is an option to hide or show rating stars, that make it easier for customers to skim through your reviews and form an opinion about your brand.
Reviewer’s avatar can be hidden or shown. When it is there it can build greater trust in your customers, however, many reviewers don’t have a picture, so sometimes it is better to have nothing that just initials as an avatar.
You can choose whether to show or hide arrows, borders and bullets to fit your design the best.
Pictures play a great role in the value that review gives to your customer. It proves more than anything that your product is real, and shows it from a perspective of a user and not from a professionally made photo used to sell the product. However, if it doesn’t fit the overall visual of your website or the pictures don’t do your product justice you can have reviews on Slider without them.
You can even use your Slider reviews just as a gallery with reviews’ product photos without any text, by hiding comments.

Sometimes your customers are looking for time relevant testimonials, like when they want to see current shipping time that is constantly changing in 2020, so displaying the date of a review comes in handy. You can set the date format to fit the one that the majority of your customers use. This is especially of great use for local shops.
Because Sliders can be placed on pages other than the product page, it is useful to have a link that takes the customer to the product page right from the review. If not, they need to search for it, and the more clicks it takes to get to the product, less likely it is that you’re going to make a conversion. To add the link you just need to activate that option in your settings.
If you want all of your published reviews to be displayed in Slider, you can easily do that too. Keep in mind that reviews that are published later will not be automatically added to the Slider. If you specifically want reviews from a certain product, for example you’re bestselling one, you have to deactivate this option and choose them manually.
Uniform website design is crucial for good user experience making shopping more pleasant for your customers. Border radius, colour and texture can be adjusted. Experiment with what works the best with your shop. To make experimenting a lot easier we made a Live Preview available. You can also adjust date, text and name colour. Look for colours that go with the colours of your website, but don’t let it blend in completely.

Number of reviews per slide, as well as the maximum number of slides are also adjustable. To make the best impact with your Sliders, put a Slider with only one review per slide with the least content (which can also be adjusted in the settings) on your home page. To make it even more eye-catching set the shorter slide duration.
